Our sins separate us from God

The Bible says that everybody has sinned. We have all done things that are wrong in God’s eyes.

"for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)

"But your iniquities have separated you from God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear." (Isaiah 59:2)

God is perfect and holy. God and sin do not mix. That is why the relationship with God is broken. Our sins separate us from God.
